Cecille began writing music on the piano in her childhood home around age of seven, writing songs that would mimic weather and nature. As she grew older, Top 40 radio introduced her to learning chord progressions and her songs started to reflect her life experiences. In one summer as a teenager she turned out nearly two dozen original songs. She would also write original music and arrangements for school projects in different subjects. Around this same time, Cecille was introduced to the music of Imogen Heap, and was inspired to learn about electronic music writing and music production. In college, she began in Garageband before eventually transitioning to Ableton, wrote constantly in her dorm room and music building practice rooms, and wrote and arranged music using Sibelius notation software. By the time she graduated college, she had well over 100 songs and compositions, her various musical influences guiding her style along the way.

Upon college graduation, she began getting into live-looping as another form of songwriting and performing, inspired by artists like Kimbra and KT Tunstall. One of her main motivations of moving to Portland, OR was to be connected in the city's creative independent music scene. She began to perform original music a few years after settling in, and she has also spent time investing in teaching composition/songwriting techniques, both in an acoustic and electronic setting. Eventually she was performing her original music with regularity around town, and she independently released her first official single called "Breathe" to streaming in 2024.

Soon, she was getting called to both perform original music and write original music. She was a featured artist at Big Yard Foundation's annual Studio Event in 2023 and 2024. Cecille has been commissioned twice by Resonance Ensemble, premiering her first contemporary choral composition, "We Are Murmurs", at the Resonance Ensemble Showcase, "Dirty Stupid Music" in January of 2023. It was featured again several times during Resonance's 2023-2024 season celebrating 15 years of commissioned works and has been recorded for release in the near future. She completed and premiered her second Resonance choral commission called "It's So Quiet" in February of 2025 as a part of the Resonance showcase "Choir Grrrl", a concert she co-curated alongside Resonance and Ringdown. Both pieces have been performed live on All Classical Radio in Portland.

Creative writing in general has been an integral part of her life, and she'll continue down this songwriting, composing, and arranging road as long as life allows.
